I will be conducting two types of research, audience research and market research. The target audience for my music magazine are from the age 14-18 year olds. I have access to these age groups as I am in school and my school has a sixth form. I am currently in year 11 at secondary school which means I have access to people younger than me and older than me as my school is joined with a sixth form. I could find a few people from these age groups and ask them to be in an interview for my focus group. For my market research, I will deconstruct a music magazine so I can pick out the main conventions of a music magazine and make it sure it is a product that my target audience would prefer to read I will look at the features of a music magazine which is aimed at teenagers and identify the common features which are on the magazine or inside the magazine.
